Jackpot!

Sideways or not...Sadly we are not the Mega Million Jackpot winner!  I apologize to anyone who was thinking they were going to get a cut of our winnings...Apparently quick pick was not the way to go!  However, I am happy to report that we are living out of a single residence as of April 1st; so in someways that was like winning a jackpot (at least to me...). 

After a ton of sorting, shredding, tossing, packing, tape, cleaning, garbage bag, after garbage bag and trips to Goodwill and I know some blood, sweat and tears (literally) we locked the keys in our old place at 143 N. Huffman Street on Saturday night.  Huffman Street was a great place to start as a couple, then was great as an engaged couple and even was good as a married couple, but we are excited to be a family (soon to be of 3) at the new place.  The last four days and week to come has been and will continue to be hectic with movers, workers, dust, carpet, tile, paint, cable, appliances, furniture delivery and everything in between but things seem to be taking shape (or at least I am trying to convince myself that the living room and dining room over-run with boxes is perfectly normal).  The last few days we have also enjoyed meeting so many of our neighbors who have brought over cookies, wine, cake and have all offered any help they might be able to provide, we definately picked a good neighborhood! 

So, we may have to keep playing the mega millions, but at least we still came out winners!  :)
