Visitors

It's been a few weeks since I last posted.  I'll blame that on getting use to life with a baby in the house.  We have also had a lot of visitors over the last 7 weeks, Parker is very popular you know.

Let's see...  Parker met both sets of grandparents on her Birthday...That first weekend she met her Oma (great-grandma on my side) and her Great Uncle Mike, that week she met her Uncle Dave, our friends Lonna and Matt and most of the neighborhood, as neighbors came over everyday for the first two weeks we were home with well wishes and meals...  I tried to take a lot of pictures of first meetings, but at some point lost track.

Parker's third week of life she met the Iowa Girls... Tanya (Texas), Andrea (DesMoines) and Erin (Phoenix) all came and were around for bits of that week.  They helped out a ton, were good company, brought tons of clothes and provided some great guidance from efficient bottle washing to organization, to just different soothing techniques.  (Parker was also spoiled with lots of cuddles!)

Parker loved all the cuddles...She really bonded with  Auntie Tanya and she can't wait
to meet Justin and baby Peanut due in November

Let's see...  Who else has Parker met?  She made the rounds to see all the neighbors that watched me grow up, so she met Mrs. Esser, Mrs. Kraft and several others...  Then Uncle Tom and Aunt Karen came to visit for a night all the way from Fort Atkinson.  Then Erik came to visit with his daughter Adreana for a few nights from Northern Iowa and then Grandma and Grandpa came down from Decorah to visit for the weekend...

(Can you see why I started losing track in the photo taking???)

This last week Bob and Sara came for a night with their little guy Will (6 months) from Cedar Rapids and so we had a BBQ and Parker also got to meet Amy and Marty and their son Ben (4 years).

Yesterday Parker met one of my childhood besties  Beth and her two kids and this weekend  Brenda, Brandon, Eliana and Garrison from DesMoines will be here to meet Parker.

In between visitors we have spent lots of time with Grandma (and Grandpa too when he isn't working)...Mom has been a huge help form the time we came home from the hospital and we weren't moving very well to now where we both are a little more fun to hangout with.

We still have lots of people to introduce Parker to (like her Great Grandma's and Cousins Kaelyn and Alison in Iowa), but at 7 weeks old Parker has definitely been very popular!
