MAY!

Wow, I can't believe it's May and our sweet girl is on the brink of turning 2.  These days if you ask her how old she will be soon she says two and will on occasion belt out her rendition of the birthday song.

At 23 months (yes, in general I tell people she is almost 2, but some days I still say how many months she is) is full of life and personality.  She melts our heart daily and makes us laugh too.  We recently had her first true parent/teacher conference and were thrilled to hear about all of the good things she does at school, her empathy for others and her growing curiosity.  

While the winter was tough on all of us, we are making up for lost time outside on a regular basis.  Parker was a bit afraid of the yard at first this year, but has since gotten past it and can't seem to get enough outside.

We had a fun weekend of being a family and took just a few pictures to try to catch up on our blog, just a bit…

Please know we don't make her wear her bike helmet to drive her car, but the helmet is new and was important part of her weekend ensemble.
